We offer three types of science resources.

Science resources for Grades 1 or 2 only:
comprehensive science units (Science Units).
Simple Machines book for Grades 1, 2, and 3:
comprehensive exploration of simple machines (Simple Machine book).
Learning Labs (mini-units) are science teaching resources for primary grade students (grades 1, 2, and 3).
A single science theme, such as levers, is developed at different levels of difficulty. A single Learning Lab contains the material for each of grades 1, 2, or 3, but at different levels of difficulty.

The Simple Machines book is designed for grades 1, 2, and 3. It represents the "rewrite" of a former set of Learning Labs on simple machines, with the addition of several new components.
All six simple machines are explored at different levels of difficulty, suitable for grades 1, 2, and 3. The book contains the material for each of grades 1, 2, or 3, but at different levels of difficulty.

We've added a new chapter on Complex machines and a table on Ontario Curriculum (1998) Science Expectations that are met.
