Smooth and Rough: Soup
cans are pulled over smooth and rough surfaces to explore the effect
of surface roughness on friction. |

F-2 Friction -
Weight and Pressure: Soup
cans are pulled across a surface to demonstrate that an object's
weight affects the force of friction. |

F-3 Magnetic
Force Fields: Prove
that a magnet is surrounded by a magnetic force field. Requires a
bar magnet and iron powder (* we sell both, see
the order information). |

F-4 Magnetic
Attraction: Prove
that a magnetic force attracts some, but not all objects. Classify
objects into those that are picked up by a magnet and those that are
not. Any magnet will do for experiment. |
