Lab complements the chapter on Inclined Planes in the Professor
Beaker's Learning Lab's Simple Machine book on Simple
Machines.
A problem is posed
Students are guided through problem solving steps.
Unit includes:
educator's notes;
- reference for educators
- discussion questions;
- problem solving sheets for each of school grades 1, 2 and 3;
- student reflection page
- story/drawing page;
- 16p in length;
- black and white b/w illustrations;
- unbound;
- pre-punched for 3 ring binders
- reproducible in your school.
This is a trial product. Other Problem Sets may be developed if demand warrants.

Solving Set - Simple Machines - Inclined Planes:
Load a heavy bicycle on to the back of a truck using a simple
machine. Students solve the problem by using a collection of
materials to design, on paper, a simple machine. Students chart and
record the materials used. |
